Pritha is a Graduate Student, working on her Ph.D. with Arkajit in the Department of Chemistry, Texas A&M University.
She presently investigates the behavior of various fermionic and/or bosonic quasiparticles, specifically their non-equilibrium dynamics as well as related many-body quantum effects. Her studies encompass quantum electrodynamics, quantum computing, and the development of mixed quantum-classical algorithms. Pritha completed her bachelor’s in chemistry from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, India and finished her master’s in chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, under Dr. Sabyasachi Mishra. Her main avenue of research during her masters was using hybrid quantum algorithms on quantum circuits to look at bulk spin systems such as the Ising model.
Pritha started at Texas A&M as a Graduate Researcher in Aug, 2024.
