Amir, a PhD student working under Dr. Mandal in the Department of Chemistry at Texas A&M University, is currently investigating the physical and chemical properties of molecules confined within optical cavities. His research interests span multiple fields, including quantum dynamics, quantum optics, computational chemistry, and machine learning.
Amir earned his BSc in pure chemistry with a minor in physics in July 2024 from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran, where he worked in Dr. Zahra Jamshidi’s group.
In his free time, Amir engages in analog photography, black-and-white darkroom printing, and enjoys solving euclidian geometry questions.
Amir joined Texas A&M University in January 2025.
